Sitagliptin and metformin hydrochloride is used to treat high blood sugar levels in adults with type 2 diabetes. It’s taken in combination with diet and exercise.

Indications

To improve glycemic control in patients who are not adequately controlled by metformin alone
To improve glycemic control in patients who are not adequately controlled by a sulphonylurea and metformin
To improve glycemic control in patients who are not adequately controlled by a PPAR? agonist and metformin
To improve glycemic control in patients who are not adequately controlled by insulin and metformin
